In response to the fact that US prosecutors said they would drop a second trial on additional charges against SBF, US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (nephew of former President John F. Kennedy) said on the X platform: "No one is even surprised by this. This is a bigger problem than fraud itself and shows how normalized corruption has become."
According to previous news, prosecutors sent a letter to U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan on Friday stating that they would abandon the trial plan against SBF on charges of conspiring to bribe foreign officials, bank fraud, and operating a money transfer business without a license.
