Franklin Templeton’s Spot BTC ETF Product Receives CBOE Approval for Listing

"To facilitate timely listings, the exchange requires expedited registration of these securities pursuant to Rule 12d1-2 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended," CBOE said. According to Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett’s previous clarification, CBOE’s approval for listing does not mean that the US Securities and Exchange Commission has approved the spot Bitcoin ETF, but refers to the CBOE exchange itself approving the listing application for “securities” (i.e. ETFs).
