Argentina registered one of the first Bitcoin-denominated rental agreements after President Javier Milei issued an emergency executive order that opened the door to such a solution. The agreement stipulates that the tenant will pay the landlord the equivalent of $100 in Bitcoin per month and select national cryptocurrency exchange Fiwind as a provider of reference Bitcoin prices to execute these payments. The contract also establishes that the tenant will execute these payments within the first five days of each month to the address provided by the landlord. Local sources said that while there have been previous records of real estate sales settled in Bitcoin, this is the first such lease agreement in the country. (News.bitcoin)
