U.S. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce said in an interview that he still plans to promote his "token safe harbor" plan.
It’s been nearly three years since Peirce released his updated Token Safe Harbor Proposal 2.0. "I think if the government wants to keep cryptocurrency innovation alive in the United States, we definitely need a version 3.0. There is room to address the legitimate concerns of cryptocurrency skeptics while addressing the legitimate concerns of innovators," she said.
Hester Peirce said she hasn't laid out the details of 3.0 yet, but she's open to ideas coming up. (Techcrunch)
