According to Foresight News, crypto security startup Silence Laboratories has completed a $4.1 million funding round, co-led by Pi Ventures and Kira Studio. The company's total funding has now reached $6 million.
Initially a multi-factor authentication (MFA) company, Silence Laboratories shifted its focus to building a crypto security firm, utilizing multi-party computation (MPC) to create infrastructure that helps businesses protect data privacy and security. Silence Laboratories offers two products using MPC technology: Silent Shard and Silent Compute. Silent Shard, audited by security audit firm Trail of Bits, enables businesses and users to limit the risk of exposing sensitive private keys and implement advanced authorization rules. Silent Compute allows companies to collaboratively process information without revealing their private data to third parties.
