According to PANews, approximately 57,000 victims lost around $47 million due to phishing scams in February. Compared to January, the number of victims who lost over $1 million decreased by 75%. The Ethereum mainnet accounted for 78% of these losses. The stolen assets were primarily ERC20 tokens, making up 86% of the total. Most of the ERC20 tokens were stolen due to phishing signatures such as Permit, IncreaseAllowance, and Uniswap Permit2. The majority of victims were lured to phishing websites through fake Twitter account phishing comments.
