MicroStrategy completes $800 million convertible senior notes offering to buy more Bitcoin

According to official news, MicroStrategy announced that it has completed the previously announced issuance of 0.625% convertible senior notes due 2030 on March 8, 2024. The total principal amount of the notes sold in this offering is US$800 million, including US$100 million in the aggregate principal amount of the notes issued under the purchase option, and is issued within a 13-day period from (and including the date of issuance) the date the notes were first issued. The initial purchasers were fully exercised on March 6, 2024, with additional purchases completed on March 8, 2024, with net proceeds being used to purchase additional Bitcoin.
