Robinhood's cryptocurrency trading volume increased 10% in February, and its stock price rose 12% premarket

Robinhood shares rose 12% to $19.23 in premarket trading Thursday after the platform reported a significant increase in trading volume in February. In its latest report after the close on Wednesday, the firm said trading activity increased across all asset classes compared with January, with equity volume jumping 36% to $80.9 billion and options contract volume rising 12% , to $119.1 million, and cryptocurrency trading volume increased 10% to $6.5 billion.
