According to TechCrunch, mobile game developer Homa has completed a $100 million Series B round of financing led by Quadrille Capital and Headline, with participation from Northzone, Fabric Ventures, Bpifrance, Eurazeo and Singular. After this financing, the company has raised a total of 165 million US dollars. The company is planning to build an interconnected gaming universe — the Homa Metaverse — made up of virtual worlds and characters owned by creators and players. Earlier in January, Sorare, a digital football NFT collection platform, partnered with mobile game developer Homa Games to hold its first Game Jam event.
