Bitcoin mining firm Core Scientific said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it has hired legal counsel to handle its dispute with Celsius Mining. Core Scientific stated that Celsius Mining owes approximately $5.4 million in custody services and that its arrears will have a material impact on the company's business, financial condition, results of operations and cash flow. Foresight News previously reported that Celsius Mining requested a stay of Core Scientific’s enforcement, citing breaches of bankruptcy terms, and said Core Scientific also charged more than $3.65 million in electricity-related charges that Core Scientific had self-increased.
