Fantom community voted to adjust staking reward APR from 13% to 6%

The Fantom Foundation announced that the governance vote to adjust the staking rewards on the chain was passed on October 5, and the APR of staking rewards was 6%. The new interest rate was launched shortly after the vote, which can extend the release duration of staking rewards to 4.7 years. The previous staking APR was 13%, and at an annual rate of return of 13%, the maximum supply of tokens would be reached in 2 years.
