CoinSwitch Holdings to Launch Stock Trading App Lemonnet

PeepalCo, the owner of Indian cryptocurrency exchange CoinSwitch, announced on Tuesday that it will launch stock trading app Lemonn, which will initially offer stock trading and expand into products such as mutual funds and derivatives over time. CoinSwitch and Lemonn will operate as independent businesses. Founded in 2017 and backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Tiger Global, CoinSwitch reorganized its operations in December, creating PeepalCo as a holding company to oversee the cryptocurrency platform as well as other new initiatives such as wealth management apps.
