ZebraDAO on Base and Leaper Finance on Blast are suspected to belong to the same fraud gang

According to on-chain analyst ZachXBT, the team behind ZebraDAO on Base may be the same fraud group as the team behind the new project Leaper Finance deployed on Blast. The platform is now online with a TVL of $311,000. ZachXBT reminds that if users have already deposited funds into the protocol, they need to withdraw their assets immediately. Earlier news, according to on-chain analyst ZachXBT, a fraud group that used Magnate, Kokomo, Lendora, Solfire and other projects to steal tens of millions of dollars deployed a new project Leaper Finance on Blast. Last week, the fraud group used about $1 million laundered from Rug to fund an address on Blast and began to provide liquidity to lure users into the trap. Over the past period of time, the fraud team has increased its TVL to more than one million US dollars, then stole all user funds deposited in the protocol, forged KYC documents, and used low-level audit companies. At present, the fraud gang has launched scams on platforms such as Base, Solana, Scroll, Optimism, Arbitrum, Ethereum, and Avalanche.
