The merger of Klaytn and Finschia chains is planned to be completed in June and the kaia mainnet will be launched

According to official news, the Klaytn Foundation said that since the Klaytn/Finschia chain merger proposal "Project Dragon" was passed, the two teams have been working hard and published an article today to introduce the new brand kaia. It is reported that kaia is an open source, transparent and permissionless public chain for everyone. The Klaytn and Finschia teams plan to launch the kaia mainnet at the end of June, and have completed the following tasks so far: established mission/vision, including white paper, strategy, token economics and governance; preliminary work to establish a new foundation in Abu Dhabi; establish a new brand image and plan a unified community channel; chain security audit; establish a bilateral token exchange plan between Klaytn and Finschia. The next step is to integrate the Klaytn and Finschia community and social channels, staffing and establishment of the Abu Dhabi Kaia DLT Foundation, rebranding of infrastructure assets such as wallets and blockchain browsers, and communicate with exchanges that have listed KLAY and FNSA to update their tokens to KAIA. By the end of June, Klaytn and Finschia expect to complete preparations for the launch of the Kaia DLT Foundation, token exchange services, testnets, mainnets and governance platforms, as well as enhanced user and community delegation features. In addition to working on the launch of kaia, its team will also work with LINE NEXT, one of the governance members. LINE NEXT will take over the development and operation of Klaytn's official digital wallet Kaikas, turning it into a simple and easy-to-use portal for the kaia ecosystem.
