Fox reporter: The US SEC may approve the first Ethereum leveraged futures ETF, which will take effect as early as June 4

Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett disclosed on the X platform that several issuers who submitted Ethereum leveraged futures ETF applications to the US SEC said that they had "active conversations" with SEC staff about the applications, and one of the issuers said that based on the communication so far, it was "optimistic" that the SEC would approve these ETFs. If the SEC does not reject it, the VolShares 2x Ether Strategy ETF (code: ETHU) will take effect first on June 4. The company launched the Bitcoin Leveraged Futures ETF (BITX) in June last year, six months earlier than the SEC approved the spot Bitcoin ETF. According to Forbes, the ETF has become the largest holder of Bitcoin futures contracts on CME.
