Preliminary results from yesterday's local elections in the UK show that the ruling Conservative Party has expressed support for cryptocurrencies, while the Labour Party, while expressing support for tokenization, has not yet stated its position on cryptocurrencies. About a third of the country's local councils voted on Thursday, with more than 2,600 seats up for grabs. BBC data shows that in 40 of the 107 councils, the Labour Party won 360 parliamentary seats, an increase of 62 seats, while the Conservatives lost 147 seats, a total of 129 seats, behind the Liberal Democrats.
