MakerDAO: DAI supply grew by $1 billion in the past two months

MakerDAO posted on X that DAI supply has surged by nearly $1 billion in the past two months. After SparkLend reduced the stability fee and DAI borrowing APY and increased the DSR rate, DAI supply increased from $4.4 billion to $5.4 billion in 60 days. DAI is the largest stablecoin by monthly on-chain transaction volume. DAI set a new record in April with $636.72 billion in on-chain transactions. The Dai Savings Rate (DSR) has also shown positive momentum. In recent months, the DSR has grown steadily, with total deposits exceeding 2 billion DAI last week, accounting for 38% of DAI in circulation, most of which are sDAI deposits, totaling about $1.38 billion.
