Skate recently published an article on the X platform stating that the Universal EVM App will be released on the Solana chain soon.
Skate has executed a taskID from the Skate Nollie testnet to the Solana testnet through its EigenLayer Preconfirmation Layer AVS.
By leveraging EigenLayer's economic trust model, Skate's preconfirmation layer AVS provides high security on Solana for Skate's universal applications, promoting the network effect of the Ethereum and Solana ecosystems.
Skate will soon open a testnet for the Skate community to allow the community to test on some SOL-id rails.
Earlier news, the on-chain asset management protocol Range Protocol announced that it will launch Skate, an intent-centric universal application layer. Skate aims to solve the problem of application fragmentation in a multi-chain environment and can serve as a single center for on-chain code deployment.
In addition to the underlying interoperability network, Skate will also connect to other blockchains through the Fast Finality Network protected by EigenLayer Active Verification Service (AVS) to achieve intent-driven cross-chain instant settlement.
Skate will launch the mainnet in 2024 and launch testnet activities with incentive mechanisms for community members in the following months.
