Witness Chain Adopts Polygon CDK to Boost DePIN Coordination Layer Development

According to Odaily, Witness Chain has announced its decision to use Polygon CDK (Chain Development Kit) to facilitate the development of the DePIN Coordination Layer (DCL). The DCL is designed to serve several purposes. Firstly, it enables the creation of composite DePIN DApps, merging DeFi and DePIN to create innovative applications. Secondly, it provides programmability to DePIN nodes, paving the way for trading resources such as computation, electricity, bandwidth, and storage in the futures market. Thirdly, it introduces dual staking for DePIN and rollups. In addition, the DCL promotes the on-chain asset registration and consensus of physical states of DePIN nodes. Lastly, it aggregates Rollup Watchtower proofs on AggLayer to support optimistic rollups and simplify the bridging process.
