According to official news, Layer2 network Fluent announced the launch of the Blended Execution mechanism. This is a new design that integrates multiple virtual machines in a single state machine, aiming to enable direct interaction between different virtual machine applications without complex cross-chain bridging, and developers can use these tools in each virtual machine ecosystem. More formally speaking, hybrid execution is defined as an execution environment that supports real-time composability between applications from multiple virtual machines.
Fluent will support Wasm, EVM, and SVM in a unified execution environment. Applications written in multiple programming languages such as Solidity, TypeScript, and Rust will be able to run on Fluent, and other virtual machines can be added in the future.
