According to PANews, the United States has seen a rise in its unemployment rate to 4% in May, marking the first time in over two years that the rate has reached this level. This figure exceeded the anticipated rate of 3.90%, which was also the previous month's rate.
In addition to the rise in unemployment, the number of non-farm payroll jobs in the U.S. increased by 272,000 in May, surpassing the expected 185,000 and the previous figure of 175,000. This data provides a snapshot of the current state of the U.S. labor market, indicating a rise in job creation alongside an increase in unemployment.
