Web3 Finance Club has partnered with Request Finance to share a survey of 900 people in the Web3 industry. The report shows that the income of people in the Web3 industry is significantly higher than that of their counterparts in the traditional financial industry, with an average increase of 27%, and the income of some positions (such as accountants) is 128% higher; 92% of the respondents work remotely, far exceeding the global average level; there is still a gender pay gap in the Web3 industry, with women earning 46% less than men on average; nearly half of those in the web3 industry are paid part or all of their compensation in cryptocurrency, with 41.7% of respondents paying at least part of it in cryptocurrency such as Paid in stablecoins or company tokens; nearly half of respondents reported no variable compensation, while the other half employed a variable compensation model with bonuses up to 50% or more of base salary; up to 63% of Web3 industry professionals receive equity as part of their compensation.
