According to information shared by Fox Business reporter EleanorTerrett on X, Jamaal Bowman, a cryptocurrency critic who voted against the FIT 21 bill, lost to Westchester County Executive George Latimer in the Democratic primary for New York's 16th District. Fairshake, a super PAC that supports cryptocurrency, spent $2 million last week on ads against Bowman. Josh Vlasto, a spokesman for Fairshake, said: "Jamaal Bowman opposes clear rules for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industries, and now he has to find another way. The cryptocurrency and blockchain community will continue to support candidates who believe in innovation and job creation, and cross party lines to get the job done."
