Hong Kong Investment Commission: Investors should only view virtual asset spot ETFs as auxiliary investments

The Hong Kong Investor and Financial Education Committee stated that virtual asset spot ETFs listed in Hong Kong are regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission. Investors can buy and sell virtual asset spot ETFs through securities firms or banks. The trading method is as convenient and simple as stocks or other ETFs. However, investors need to understand whether the risk level assessment of virtual asset spot ETFs is suitable. Since virtual asset spot ETFs are extremely volatile, they may not necessarily bring about the effect of risk diversification.
