Analysis: Tokenized U.S. Treasury Bonds Expected to Reach $3 Billion by the End of 2024

Tom Wan, a strategist at 21.co, said in an article on X that the scale of tokenized US Treasuries is expected to reach $3 billion by the end of 2024. There is a trend in the industry for DeFi projects' DAOs to disperse their funds to RWA, including stablecoins and tokenized US Treasuries. With the maturity of tokenized US Treasuries, there are more than 15 products on the EVM chain, reaching an asset management scale of nearly $2 billion, and DAOs are beginning to include yield products such as BUIDL, USTB, USDY and USDM in their treasury. In the long run, this trend will continue. Projects currently adopting this strategy include: -Arbitrum allocates 35 million ARBs ($27 million); - MakerDAO allocates $1 billion. As these two projects allocate funds to tokenized US Treasuries, the total market value of tokenized US Treasuries is expected to increase to more than $3 billion by the end of 2024.
