Citi: Ethereum spot ETF net inflows in the first six months were between $4.7 billion and $5.4 billion

Citi said in a research note last week that net inflows into U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs may be only 30%-35% of those into spot Bitcoin ETFs, and that the distribution of funds is tilted to the downside. At this level, net inflows in the first six months ranged from $4.7 billion to $5.4 billion, the report said. In addition, the bank said that inflows and Ethereum's returns relative to inflows may be lower than the analysis suggests. "One reason is that while ETH may offer diversification benefits in the long term, this is not the case today given its different and broader use cases," wrote analysts led by Alex Saunders.
