Decentralized yield protocol Spectra (formerly APWine) released a review report on recent security incidents.
At 15:00 UTC on July 23, attackers successfully hijacked user transactions on Spectra, affecting a total of 4 wallets, resulting in a loss of about 168 ETH. The Spectra core protocol contract was not affected, the funds in the contract were safe, and the application was restored on the morning of July 24.
Spectra added that the current priority is to recover the funds of affected users, and the team has contacted relevant departments and relevant third parties, including exchanges and third-party security companies, to seek their support in tracking and recovering funds.
Spectra has also sent an on-chain message to the hacker, allowing the hacker to return 90% and retain 10% of the funds, and will not continue to pursue responsibility.
