The Thai Securities and Exchange Commission launched a digital asset regulatory sandbox on August 9, aimed at promoting experimentation and development of new digital asset services. "Interested parties are welcome to participate in the sandbox to test their digital asset-related services and promote innovative development of the capital market under a flexible regulatory framework," the announcement stated, adding that the sandbox was officially launched today. At the same time, the commission issued eligible service regulations, including the qualifications of participants and the scope of sandbox trials. Eligible digital asset-related service providers include the following six: digital asset exchanges, brokers, dealers, fund managers, consultants, and custodial wallet providers. (Cointelegraph)
