Coinbase Adds Polygon Ecosystem Token (POL) to its Listing Roadmap

According to official news, Coinbase announced that it will add Polygon Ecosystem Token (POL) to the coin listing roadmap. Starting from August 26, Coinbbase will migrate the Polygon code from MATIC to POL on the Polygon Network. From August 26 to September 10, the send/receive function of MATIC on the Polygon Network will be disabled to successfully complete the code change from MATIC to POL. On September 4, Coinbase will add support for POL on the Ethereum network. Customers who currently stake MATIC through Coinbase will still be able to continue staking and receive rewards. Coinbase reminds that during the code upgrade from August 26 to September 10, please do not deposit MATIC on Polygon PoS. The send/receive function of the following tokens on Polygon will also be disabled during the update: VOXEL, USDC, CBETH and WETH.
