Stablecoin market grew by $1.3 billion in the past week

The stablecoin market continued its upward trend over the past week, adding $1.3 billion in value. Tether (USDT), the largest stablecoin network by market cap, expanded its supply by 820 million during this period, climbing its market cap from $116.88 billion to its current $117.7 billion. Over the past week, 710 million FDUSD were added to the market. Meanwhile, Paypal’s PYUSD, the sixth-largest stablecoin by market cap, also grew, approaching the $1 billion mark for the first time, with a market cap of $981.69 million as of August 23, and an increase of 190 million tokens in its supply over the past week.
