WisdomTree withdraws S-1 registration document for Ethereum Trust filed with SEC

Asset management company WisdomTree has requested to withdraw its Ethereum Trust S-1 registration document filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). WisdomTree said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on September 6: "The registration statement was originally filed on May 27, 2021... The Company confirms that no securities have been and will not be issued or sold pursuant to the registration statement." In addition, WisdomTree will not apply for a refund of the fees paid to the U.S. SEC for filing the registration statement, but requested that the amount be credited as a "loan" for future use.
