Aptos Labs has announced its agreement to acquire HashPalette Inc., a subsidiary of HashPort Inc. and the developer of Palette Chain, according to official news. As part of the agreement, HashPort will migrate Palette Chain and HashPalette's applications to the Aptos network, including the EXPO2025 digital wallet for the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
Through this acquisition, Aptos Labs is committed to expanding its footprint in Asia and bringing the Aptos blockchain to one of the world's most innovative digital economies. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and approvals.
