Bison, a cryptocurrency trading platform owned by Stuttgart Stock Exchange, has launched an insured staking service for Ethereum users. The staking feature allows customers to stake as little as 0.005 ETH and receive rewards every week. The program is backed by German companies, including global reinsurance company Munich Re, which provides coverage for risks common in the cryptocurrency staking process. The insurance is designed to cover slashing risks, which can result in the loss of staked ETH when a validator is punished by the network due to misconduct. In addition, Munich Re's policy also protects stakers from the risks of operational errors, technical failures, and potential fraud. (Cointelegraph)
