As WazirX, which was hacked, is undergoing debt restructuring, its digital custody partner Liminal issued a statement to address security vulnerabilities. Today, Liminal issued an update responding to WazirX's alleged disinformation campaign and clarifying its role in the incident. The statement said that although WazirX accused Liminal of causing $235 million in stolen losses in July, WazirX continued to use its digital custody service, and WazirX held more than $175 million in assets on its platform. Liminal emphasized that it could not initiate transactions involving WazirX funds and stated that only the WazirX team had the ability to execute such transactions. (Cointelegraph)
