The Uniswap Foundation Security Fund aims to change the way projects building Uniswap v4 hooks access security audits. By creating a market where vetted providers compete, the audit process is simplified and overall costs are expected to be reduced. The market will enable shortlisted projects to obtain audit quotes from whitelisted providers, ensuring transparency and competitive prices. The project will then select a provider, and the Uniswap Foundation will subsidize the full cost of the audit for eligible selected projects.
