Game studio Gunzilla Games closes $46 million funding round led by Republic Capital

Game studio Gunzilla Games announced the completion of a total of $46 million in financing, led by Republic Capital. Other participating investors include Griffin Gaming Partners, Animoca Brands, Jump Crypto, Raptor Group, CoinFund, Shima Capital, Dominance Ventures, GSR, KuCoin Labs, Spartan Investment Group, AlphaCrypto Capital, Blizzard, Digital Strategies, Morningstar Ventures, Gamegroove Capital, NGG and Huobi Group, angel investors and advisors including Twitch co-founder Justin Kan. Transactions will take place through the internal blockchain-based marketplace or any third-party marketplace that supports NFT technology. Gunzilla Games will build a new platform, GunZ, to empower players by granting them full ownership of in-game properties. One of OTG's mechanisms is in-game item trading, which will be done through an internal blockchain-based marketplace or any third-party marketplace that supports NFT technology.
