At the 2024 Hong Kong SmartCon conference held by Chainlink, Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov released a series of new features of CCIP (Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol): autonomous deployment, token developer attestation, programmable transfers, flexible developer control, deep defense security, no liquidity pool, and zero slippage transfers.
Sergey Nazarov also highlighted how CCIP programmable transfers support one-click staking on Arbitrum, Base, and Optimism chains, making Chainlink a composable layer for LSTFi and LRTFi. "The ultimate goal of the above upgrades and innovations is to establish a global contract network by CCIP and CRE, providing high-quality, high-security, and low-fee services to further increase adoption."
