At the 2024 Hong Kong SmartCon conference held by Chainlink, Scroll co-founder Sandy Peng gave a speech on the theme of "Amplifying ZK Capabilities: On-chain Solutions for Enterprise Adoption". Sandy Peng summarized Scroll's achievements, including 100% zkEVM compatibility and the fastest finality (average 4 minutes), $1.2 billion TVL facilitated by real users, and more than 250 ecosystem partners; according to rollup.wtf data, Scroll's current TPS is 320.3, and it will reach 1000 by the end of the year.
Sandy Peng said that the era of Ethereum centered on Rollup has arrived, and many projects need to have their own L2 to achieve security, controllability, and scalability. The trend of enterprises adopting ZK is inevitable, and Scroll Gadgets and SDK were born for this purpose. They have flexible customization and developer-friendly features, supporting enterprise-level users to quickly build their own zkEVM chains.
