Elon Musk's artificial intelligence startup xAI is in talks with Nvidia for a major investment aimed at accelerating the development of its large-scale language model Grok, according to the New York Post.
In addition, the Wall Street Journal said that xAI is negotiating with investors to raise billions of dollars, valuing the company at about $40 billion, and it also noted that Musk is looking for strategic investors, mainly technology companies, to support this round of financing, but has not yet confirmed any names. Venture capital firms including Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz and Vy Capital are also said to be involved in these ongoing negotiations. (TechStartups)
