According to CNN, as of 7 a.m. EST, more than 25 states have begun voting for the presidential election. The states that have just started voting include:
-Alabama (some polling stations follow Eastern Time and will open at 7 a.m. Eastern Time, but most polling stations follow Central Time and will open at 8 a.m. Eastern Time).
-Delaware
-Washington, D.C.
-Florida
-Georgia
-Illinois
-Kansas (some polling stations open at 8 a.m. due to time zones)
-Maryland
-Massachusetts (cities or towns can choose to open as early as 5:45 a.m. EST)
-Michigan (some polling stations open at 8 a.m. EST due to time zones)
-Missouri
-Pennsylvania
-Rhode Island
-South Carolina
-Tennessee (polling stations with a population of more than 120,000 must open before 7 a.m. EST)
