South Korean prosecutors have obtained transaction data related to BASIC price manipulation allegations from Upbit, Bithumb and Coinone.
On November 1, the Virtual Asset Crime Joint Investigation Team of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office received transaction data from Upbit, Bithumb and Coinone, which supported the currency's trading, to investigate BASIC price manipulation allegations.
It is said that in order to investigate evidence, the prosecutors did not obtain relevant data from the exchange through random submission, but obtained a search warrant and conducted a search and seizure. (Digital Asset)
