Software asset management company Flexera released its 2025 IT Priorities Report based on a survey of 800 IT leaders from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Australia. The survey focuses on how IT decision-makers will set priorities for the coming year.
Among the top technology vendors, 37% of IT leaders surveyed said they are currently or will invest the most in OpenAI in the next year. The artificial intelligence research organization ranked fourth after Microsoft, Google and Amazon Web Services, tied with Oracle.
It is reported that this is the first time that OpenAI has appeared as an option on the survey list. Survey participants can also select multiple options.
The report said that OpenAI was able to occupy the top four positions because it can work with enterprises and allow employees to build customized AI solutions, which gives the company "a competitive advantage in the field of AI consulting."
The survey also found that 42% of IT leaders said that integrating AI will bring the greatest change to their organization, while 26% and 25% of respondents believe that it can reduce security risks and reduce IT costs respectively. (Business Insider)
