Decentralized AI project Morpheus announced the launch of its mainnet. The project is committed to reducing the negative effects of artificial intelligence, such as centralization, censorship, and data monopoly control.
Similar decentralized AI projects include Bittensor, dAIOS, and Boltzmann Network. Morpheus recently joined the Decentralized AI Association, an industry organization dedicated to fighting against tech giants that have a lot of control over AI data.
Built using the code base of Arbitrum's on-chain protocol Lumerin, Morpheus went live on a public testnet, or simulated experimental environment, in July. The project promises to provide personal artificial intelligence, also known as "smart agents," that can empower individuals like personal computers and search engines did decades ago. The team said that among other tasks, the agent can "execute smart contracts, connect to users' Web3 wallets, DApps, and smart contracts." (CoinDesk)
