BitUniverse, a Hong Kong-listed company, announced that it had previously disclosed that it had entered into a memorandum of understanding with a holding company that might acquire a technology company registered in South Korea. However, before the final deadline (November 16, 2024), the relevant contracting parties had not yet entered into a legally binding formal agreement on the possible acquisition. The memorandum of understanding automatically expired on November 16, 2024 and no longer had any effect (except for the clauses that clearly stipulated that the memorandum of understanding would remain in effect after its expiration).
