Digital asset platform Bakkt posts $1.5 billion net loss in Q3 on revenue of $12.9 million

Digital asset platform Bakkt reported a net loss of $1.5 billion in the third quarter, largely due to its previously announced goodwill impairment charge. Bakkt's third-quarter revenue of $12.9 million was up 41% from a year earlier but missed analysts' estimates of $14.1 million. Operating expenses, excluding impairment charges, were $60 million, double the nearly $30 million reported a year earlier, the report showed. the
