BitMEX Research: The court has rejected the appeal application of Craig Wright and COPA case

BitMEX Research posted on the X platform that the court has rejected the appeal of Craig Wright (CSW) and the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA). If CSW wants to further the case, his only way out now is the UK Supreme Court. · After CSW lost the case, the court subsequently issued several injunctions to CSW, requiring him not to take or threaten legal action on the grounds that he is Satoshi Nakamoto; · Despite the injunction, CSW appears to have violated this provision and launched a large-scale lawsuit against Bitcoin developers and more than a hundred cryptocurrency companies in the UK. He sued for more than $1 trillion, and CSW is still claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto in the new case; · COPA then claimed that this new case violated the injunction and the case has been suspended until the result is determined. If the case does violate the injunction, it may be dismissed; · On December 18, 2024, a one-and-a-half-day hearing will be held in London to determine whether the injunction has been violated and whether CSW is in contempt of court. On Wednesday, the judge asked CSW to attend the hearing in person. ·At this point, there is still a lot of uncertainty as to whether CSW will attend the hearing or whether he will continue to hide in the Far East.
