Experts believe that the budget dispute in South Korean politics is one of the reasons why President Yoon Seok-yeol issued an emergency martial law order. The South Korean National Assembly Budget and Settlement Special Committee held a plenary meeting on November 29 and voted to pass a budget cut in the absence of members of the ruling People's Power Party. The budget passed that day was 4.1 trillion won less than the 677.4 trillion won budget submitted by the government. In addition, South Korean society fell into chaos due to the sudden emergency martial law order. Today, many large companies and foreign companies such as LG in South Korea implemented or persuaded employees to work from home. (Jin Shi)
