Virtuals Protocol: Token pre-locking loophole discovered, currently being fixed, user funds safe

Base Chain AI Agents ownership layer protocol Virtuals Protocol stated on the X platform that “We have noticed an extreme case where developers using certain third-party locked pre-bonded proxy tokens are able to access their tokens after bonding without locking them. Please note that all funds are safe. Thanks to community members for feedback, a $10,000 bounty has been offered. We are developing a permanent feature, and in the meantime, builders who want to lock tokens before bonding can do so by sending their tokens to the vault (standard lock for 6 months after bonding).”
