OpenAI founder and CEO Sam Altman will join the list of American technology giants who have donated to President-elect Trump's inaugural fund. "Trump will lead our country into the era of artificial intelligence, and I am eager to support his efforts to ensure that the United States remains at the forefront," Altman said in a written statement. Altman reportedly plans to donate $1 million to the Presidential Inaugural Committee in his personal name, rather than directly from OpenAI. Previously, Zuckerberg and Bezos both announced donations of $1 million to the Presidential Inaugural Fund, allegedly in an effort to ease relations with the incoming president. (Foxbusiness)
