Dan Weiskopf, portfolio manager at BLOK, said he thinks MicroStrategy (MSTR) may be "out of reach" to be included in the S&P 500 in 2025, but it's just a matter of time. Weiskopf and the Amplify ETFs team elaborated on an "interesting hypothesis": if the price of BTC exceeds $200,000, MSTR could one day have a larger weight in the S&P 500 than Bank of America.
In addition, Matthew Sigel and Patrick Bush of VanEck believe that President-elect Trump's appointments - Howard Lutnick, David Sacks, Paul Atkins, etc. - mark the beginning of a policy framework that positions Bitcoin as a strategic asset.
The CoinShares team also said that as more companies hold BTC, Bitcoin income strategies may become the "new corporate financial norm." (Blockworks)
